A lot of you will remeber a my son joes getting beaton up about 2 years ago before that when he was 14 he was asalted in manchestr bus staion tolets by a bus condutor the B******* got 7 years for it. But with everything that had happend to him Joe got prity mesed up. fails 2 collages coures didnt want to do anything and didnt like going out on his own as the chavs had a go at him all the time.

Last year he met a girl in scotland on the internet and moved up there to be with her. its the best thing hes ever done getting away from the bulles round here he had since he as 11 gave him a new lease on life hes a trainy chef hes been there 12 months now and has just be promoted to head of desserts. he works long hours and very hard being a chef is not easy but he loves it. hes got his own flat Soory apartment  well he shares it with his boss. hes got a nice girlfrend and hes happy. allthough we dont see him he does phone a few times a week which is pritty good for a 20 year old lad. he says hes a mocher chef  and gorned rammsy can step down in a few years cos joe looks better with his white of than rammsy does.

Its odd Alex get in the reganl finals of master chef our joes a chef and i hate cooking with a passion I would rather clean public tolets than cook so its not from me. Joe was allways good at cooking at school the teachers loved him but he thought he would get bulled even more if he did here I do miss him but I am glad for him he moved. the pics not brill took on his phone but atleast his hairs not purpel anymore

:) Thats brilliant Wendy, no wonder youre so proud. WELL DONE JOE! My son Joe was bullied at school until one day he just couldnt go out the door anymore. He is 16 now and has just started college and is a lot happier. I hope one day he can be as happy as your Joe

 Congratulations Joe!

So glad Joe is now HAPPY after the terrible times he has been through. :D

Well Done to Joe. And how lucky are you to have a son who can do desserts  Yum Yum :D

I'm like you Wendy, I hate cooking so much.

Brilliant news Wendy, very glad Joe's doing so well. I remember you telling us of the problems he'd had, fantastic that his life is so much better and work is going so well. I'm very pleased for you all (and I hate cooking too! I am happy to do all the normal plain stuff - stew, roasts, lasagne, sausage and mash etc etc but have no imagination whatsoever and couldn't face starting on with intricate stuff. Thank goodness for chefs!! :D )

Good on Joe

It's lovely to hear how well he is doing for himself

I hate cooking with a vengeance too, Wendy

I'll spend all day mucking out horses and picking up dog poo :teehee: but anything domesticated and you can count me out :D

I'm not surprised you're proud of him - it takes a lot of guts to up sticks and move to a new area and start afresh and it sounds like he's made a huge success of it. Well done Joe and well done you for being such a supportive mum :D
