Dear pet owner,
I am currently undertaking a research project as part of my veterinary studies at the Royal Veterinary College, London, assessing the different factors that clients think are important when choosing a vet practice. I plan to explore why clients choose their vet practices, the services they think are the most important, and if different types of vet practices provide different aspects of these services. I aim to assess if there are trends as to why clients choose vet practices that are part of a corporate chain, and independent vet practices, and if these different business styles provide a tailored service that suits their client base.
I would be very grateful for any UK residents who own a small animal (e.g. cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, lizards etc.) who would be willing to assist me in this research by filling out the attached questionnaire, which should take no longer than 10 minutes, and would help me greatly. You are more than welcome to leave any question blank, and all information collected will be confidential and only seen by myself and my supervisor. If the paper is published all data will me anonymised and no vet practices will be mentioned by name.

Please click on the link below if you would like to continue to the questionnaire:

Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.
Yours faithfully,

Jack Howell (5th Year Veterinary Student at the Royal Veterinary College).

Filled in, good luck with your studies, I have a Zoology degree and miss the academic side!
