Vitamin k1 advice

Hi,

I've been giving my dog vitamin k1 tablets (2 a day). The vet prescribed these as he ate rat poison. Now, he's taken 8 days worth and has 6 days to go, but his back, shoulders and neck are swollen solid. I know the remaining vitamin K1 doesn't come through the body (it gets stored), will his swelling go down once I stop giving him the pills?

Give your vet a ring. You do not have to go in and pay for a consultation. They should advise you about this over the phone. If it is not a reaction to the vitamin then they may need to see the dog.
