Hi all
Would like to inform all members of the Whippet Club of Scotland that i will be stepping down this year at the A.G.M.
I have been in post for 4 years and feel that someone else can have the opportunity that i had.
I would like to thank all members of the Whippet Club of Scotland for their support during my time as secretary,as i have made some wonderfull friends during this period.
I must say it was a great learning experience for me and i so enjoyed working for the members, and also the Kennel club were very supportive initially.
I will still be involved with the whippets as they are my life, and as the 2 Scottish racing clubs have merged into the one, i have been elected as Secretary and look forward to this,
The new name of the racing club is now the Scottish Thistle Pedigree Whippet Racing Club and wil be one of the
biggest clubs in Britain.
If anyone is interested in the Secretaries post for the W.C.S. come along to the Annual General Meeting on the 26th March at 10-00 am. which will be held in Ashgill bowling Club and have a proposer with them.
But once again i can't thank you all enough for your support.
