Just to add to the proof that the judge puts up all colours....my fawn dog has been beaten for the ticket twice now and given the Rcc. Going back to 1991 she put up ch Pencloe Dutch Gold (who was not a ch then) and he's a brindle. Very impartial judge but she'l like something that looks functional!

Yes Barmoll Bracken is alive and well at 15 and a half years old, long live Spider!!

Did I say Fawn I meant Brindle of course !!!

WELCOME DI TO K9 :D

Jackie and the Mulcair whippets !!

Hello Di - I thought it must be you! Hope you enjoy this site - you will never get anything done now as its extremely addictive. Hope to see lots of your superb photos on here - especially my favourite running whippets which was on the calender last year.

Love Beth and Zeph

I'll be there with Ellie & Ivan. Looks like I'll be wasting my time with a parti & a blue!! :- " :D

Hi Di

Pleased to see you here....... Karen was just asking about Spider the other day, i'll be able to tell her that hes fine now. Sadly he's out lived his daughter Rosie who they lost last year but have now got one of my recent litter.

Better get back to topic LOL

I'm going to blame Dessie now for not entering Welks with my Brindle white trim LOL Just can't get the right info for some people ! (w00t) (w00t)

I'm not going, even with my 2 fawns :( Thought I would go to NWA instead next weekend, as its cheaper, closer and hopefully the judge will like my boys better! Well you never know :p

Good entry though - I hope everybody else has a greatday, and the judging will be outside in the lovely sunshine so i am really quite envious now! Good luck everyone :luck:

Did the fawn's only idea come from her last Champion? This judge has owned/owns all of the whippet colours except for solid blue I think. :- "

Don't forget she lives with racing ones as well as show. Currently she lives with a fawn (blue masked?), black, black and white, solid brindle, blue brindle & white and now owns either a black masked red fawn or a brindle & white parti (orange one I think).

Apart from that hi Di welcome to the board. See you tomorrow.

Ive never thought of her as being particulaly colour biased, but probably some of the heavier/brighter brindles come with a statue that may not appeal to her?
