hi susan, wouldnt say well trained neither dog will sit on command or do any sort of doggy obedience. they are just under control, no training has gone in just plenty of rabbiting. more you do better they become. :thumbsup: heres a pic of me and the kids cooking up some rabbit beans and onion out on the dunes, real peasant food but well tasty. :cheers:

Yes, ours started doing it all by himself at about 18 months. I wouldn't say he waits 'for the word' though. Even when I tell him to go, he looks and says 'are you mad? I'm not going for it until there are twice as many in the right place' :lol: It's an amazing contrast to his behaviour at lurecoursing or racing where he'll bark and howl the place down in anticipation of the chase :wacko: (it pays off; he caught his first bunny, since breaking his toe, last week :D )
