Went on a health walk today. Apparently countrywide courtesy of Macmillan and Ramblers.
Asked if I could take Dudley, organiser said never been asked before so yes.
Took a friend with her dog. Everyone very friendly, three mile walk saw bits of countryside in our town I didn't know existed.
Will now do this weekly, new people and places for Dudley and Betty to see. Even parts they could go off lead.
My first time on organised walk and we intend to do it weekly.

That sounds great. I've joined a local facebook dog walking group which is fun. Harri gets doggy company which he loves and I get people to talk to whilst discovering new bits of my own area.

I did look at local rambling groups and whilst they do allow dogs they also take the walking very seriously and although the distance wouldn't be an issue, the speed at which Harri progresses would be. He does like to stop and sniff every few yards!

That sounds really good and great that you could take Dudley along with you to!

That sounds amazing! i wish i could trust Olive more off the lead :)

Wouldn't go near anything with rambliars involved if I was paid! It is good to get out with other people/dogs though, no doubt about that.

Dudley did stop a bit, although associated with the Ramblers the walks are run as part of cardiac rehab,.

I walk with friends quite often. It is run from the local Sports Centre as part of cardiac rehab programme. Will definitely go again.
Dudley did pee and sniff quite a bit
