My dad an I ..sounds posh eh ! used to race dogs years ago and boy do I miss it now ,wondering if anyone on here remembers there being a club in Wallsend either Bigges Main or Rising Sun ( barking dog ) ,if so let me know our first dogs racing name was Stride On we even won the Waterloo Cup .

bigges main is still running on a sat rising sun has slackened off due to lack of workers

we,ve ran there for years old dogs were cassius, terracotta. bo peep,doscoes boy,

dd you run with micky campbell, willie netherton, kevin johnson etc

Yes mate we did ,I remember those names well and the dogs too ,doscoes boy ,god that takes me back,think I'll have a look along Bigges main if I get a day off sometime is the track still in the same place ,I know things have changed over that way.
