 Here is a warning from my son Joe who goes on MSN - there is a virus going round (any computer bods who can tell us how to get rid of it???)

Hi there, Joe here

Just to let you know if any of you or your children use MSN, or any other instant message program, there is a nasty virus and spyware thing going round. When you are in a conversation it will say:

((insert persons name)) says:

foto :p ((then a link))

You must NOT click the link or do anything to it. It is not the person you are talking to who sent it to you.

The link runs an application that puts a virus and spyware on your computer or laptop. The application then freezes and crashes the machine and continues to crash it when you reboot. From other people who have been hit by this, a full system scan revealed it to be a spybot worm. I would strongly recommend having a good anti-virus and anti-spyware should you get this virus. If your machine keeps crashing before you are able to start scans, i've heard the only option is to have the hard drive flatened/wiped. Too damn late for me though

:( Cost me 30 quid at PC world this morning - had to get the desktop wiped  now having to re-install everything! Joe knows at least 5 other people who got hit by this last night.
