I found this site on a forum. It was posted as a warning. I draw your attention to the 5th ad down for "Frizzy" the Bichon Frise. If my eyes do not mistake me, I believe that I am looking at a cuddly toy and not a real dog...this is shocking!!!

I'm not sure it is a mickey take though. There have been concerns about pictures being stolen from the internet to advertise non existent dogs. People then buy the dog for it to be shipped and it never is...how people can do this is beyond me

if there stupid enough to buy a puppy from the internet they deserve to be ripped off a cuddly toys about right

very very sick, greedy, morally lacking people do this i'm afraid :( at the end of the day, though, surely in any circumstances its far better, and reassuring for the breeder, to get off the pc and actually handle the litter yourself? its not as if you can feed, walk etc your new puppy online, is it? so, while i deplore the actions of these con artists, i think that those getting conned are at least partially to blame. of course sometimes theres little choice when it comes to imports, but most people when looking to bring in fresh lines, study this carefully and aim for offspring from particular parents etc, they dont go eeny meeny miny mo, oooh i'll go for that one. this careful selection means that theyll be dealing with reputable show/breeders, who in turn will be equally keen that their pups go to good owners.

And what the hell is a 'Chinese Imperial' or a 'Puggle' ............... both mongrels I take it! And the Staffordshire looks more like a Jack Russell!!! Poor puppies

The puggle is a cross between a beagle and a pug. The chinese imperial from what I can find is a minature Shih Tzu

I do not understand how can anybody buy a puppy without actually seeing the litter and where it came from. Importing is a different story, you do go to the top well known breeder, and if you cannot actually fly over you would expect flood of pics and videos. So there is no concern they keep the money and disapear. :)

But this is America!
