Just had a call from a friend who has had a mishap with some thing getting in her dogs eye causing megga problems.

The dog is at the Animal Health Trust Newmarket being treated for an eye ulcer they think caused by cement dust which contains lime blowing into the dogs eye.

So beware if you are doing any DIY or even out walking passing a building site etc the cement dust is one of the worst things to treat and my friends pet will be at Newmarket for at least a week with no promise of a complete recovery of full sight.
