Hi everyone,
Slightly odd post as it is not dog related however I wanted to share this with you, if you don't know already.
You tube streams of a certain video have gone global for a little boy named Seth.
He is suffering with an immune deficiency called SCID and he is currently waiting for his second bone marrow transplant from his Daddy which is due to take place very soon.
On 27 March Seth has asked for as many people as possible to wear the colour yellow, as this is his favourite colour. He then wants you to put the picture on facebook, twitter instagram or on his blog that his mom writes.
if you google #wearyellowforseth you will no doubt find the video. Please watch it and I hope that you are as truly touched as I was. (link for video below as well)
I will be wearing yellow next Friday as and I have a yellow lab so I will be making sure he is in the picture with me too and posting it on Seth's facebook page for him to see.
If you could all wear yellow for Seth next Friday and get your dogs involved to, and post pictures of you wearing yellow and your dog is in the picture too, maybe a yellow bandanner to pop round their neck or something?
His parents will be showing him the photos of everyone who wears yellow and some of them will be printed off and put on his hospital wall, to keep him going through his ongoing struggles and to keep him smiling (to be honest by the look on his blog this little guy is never short on smiles!)
he has been in hospital since January (he has been there many times over his short life but this is the most recent) and will be there for another 12 months after his transplant.
To do this with your pets involved I think would really brighten up his day!
