Here in the midlands we have had some really heavy rain, this is a welcome relief to all the grass tracks in the area and hopefully should take the sting of the hard ground, this weather is said to be moving up the north.

We've had the rain down here John. fordingbridge track really needed it. At the moment Shirley and myself are sitting in the sun and getting brown. Rocky has a new brother, perhaps you have heard - little Bally Boy

you are lucky, getting rain up here in scotland weve had none they alreadyhave a few toe injuries at kircaldy i fear the worst for the derby, moan moan moanthat all we do eh .

Its been raning all day here in the northwest and its heading up to scottland so get your wellys out

Yes, Jade. I am going to run Sam. In fact I did yesterday evening as the track at Fordingbridge was in lovely condition after all the rain we have had.

About 20 dogs turned up, all taking advantage of the soft ground. Hope it stays this way for awhile.

I am Glad that you can get on and run at fordingbridge, one of the most picturest tracks in England. I am sure that Sam will do well for you and having dogs to run with will benefit all the dogs at your club track.

The South is looking good too...p*****d down in Kent this afternoon, the grass is turning green again... Essex ain't looking too bad either...we hate getting wet, but what a lovely thing it is...
