Just had a very happy call from Mally , who`s little 11mth old whippet bitch Vixen , has just won best whippet (47entries) and then went on to take supreme in show beating best lurcher and terrier WAY TA GO MATE!!!!!!

this was at West Coast whippet, lurcher & terrier show at Flimby , so vixen is now qualified for the Cumbrian whippet champs later in the year

Well done to you both

 Well done Vixen and Mally

Hi, I was the Whippet and Lurcher judge at this show, and, although there was a big turnout of whippets, Vixen really caught my eye. I had no hesitation in giving her Champion Whippet, and in the "Show Off" between the Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet, all three judges were unanimous in picking Vixen as Supreme Champion. The West Coast Club lads are very knowelagable about their Whippets, and all generally agreed Vixen was a worthy winner; well done !!!

Cheers.

Congratulations Mally  - Vixen is beautiful, she is Badger's sister, isn't she? What a lovely litter you had there.

Yes she is Badgers sister, All the pups in the litter have turned out to be real belters far exceeding my expectations. Vixen is also proving to be a really useful working dog too. She's a very level headed bitch, very well behaved and taking rabbits with ease. She was a little slow maturing physically and i entered her a little slower, but now there is no stopping her. It's still early days but I'm looking forward to the forthcoming season where hopefully she will prove she has what it takes out in the field both ferreting and lamping.
