Was right about one thing, Islam degrades women, as a matter of course. Anyone who has spent 5 minutes in Saudi would agree

the QT's audience was London, not representative of England. Griffin was set up by the BBC, the seating arrangements, the biased audience, it was basically a lynching. He's right about our country, we are being swamped and down trodden, giving way to other peoples religions and losing our Christian roots. Enoch Powell was so right all those years ago.
We need to make sure we understand about immigration. If all the immigrants in this country left, many of our institutions and industries would collapse, including the NHS, as many of our nurses are from Australia, New Zealand etc. We wouldn't have enough doctors and already can't recruit enough dentists. Immigrants do a lot of jobs that some British people think themselves above, such as food harvesting and cleaning. It's not that they 'take' the jobs, it's that British companies can't find British people to do them so have to look abroad.
Also it's a fact that if we sent all immigrants ''home'' and took back all the British people who have gone abraod (to the US, France, Australia etc) we would actually end up with MORE people on this island, because more have left than have come in.
I agree with Suzycbee that no religion should be shoved down anyone's throat - people should be educated enough to choose for themselves. Christianity itself is an imported religion as the original religions of these islands would have been forms of Paganism.
Illegal immigration is a different thing and of course needs to be sorted out. Nick Griffin works by allowing people to mix up the term 'immigration' with 'illegal immigration'. At the end of the day he is a bitter racist, exploiting our fears to get himself power.
I agree with you, I feel the same. I lived in London in the sixties and watched areas being swamped by blacks from Jamaica and Nigeria. They would buy a house in a small street, gradually as people left they took over the whole street. It then became a sort of no-go area.I think Nick Griffin said many things that others are afraid to say-'PC' and all that.....I didn't like the way he was 'set up' and 'set upon'........the panel and audience 'all went for him'
I think the doors to Britain should be closed- concentrate on who we have- here now.
All those who choose to remain here should observe/respect British living-Christianity etc....and not try to impose other traditions/religion on others.
I don't beleive my views are in any way racist......
I also believe 'sexual preferences' should be kept out of Primary schools..
I'm not 'homophobic' but I don't wish to see gay men/women kissing in public-nor do i think television should broadcast such scenes in early shows such as Eastender's etc
Why exactly can't British companies find suitable trainee doctors/nurses in this country?
Might it be we don't 'concentrate on, nurture and fully fund British citizens/students here?

What is this country coming to ?

I couldn't agree more.it was indeed Meddling - and the Epilepsy Society conducted research amongst it's members to find out if anyone actually really was offended by the term, and surprise surprise, found that pretty much no one was!
I think this one started out in the same way as baa baa green sheep thing i.e. completely made up by the tabloids.....what happened with that one was that a rag made up a story about 'loony left' councils banning baa baa black sheep (which never happened btw) People read it and believed it, and then organisations started thinking 'hey, are people offended by that song? should we change the words?
But the truth is, it was all an invention of some sub-editor with an axe to grind and too much time on their hands.....the who brainstorming thing sounds mighty similar to me.
As to Nick Griffin - the man is a despicable weasle....and I really have no sympathy for a man like that receiving a roasting.
He is not a nice person, but the BBC set him up, all the audience was hand picked and the questions pre-arranged, that is what happens at all the question time programs. No one can for see the answers.I couldn't agree more.it was indeed Meddling - and the Epilepsy Society conducted research amongst it's members to find out if anyone actually really was offended by the term, and surprise surprise, found that pretty much no one was!

And having watched the programme 'BNP Wives' on Sky a few nights ago, I think the real agenda of this vile and disgusting party was clear to see, not the watered down version that Nick Griffin would have had us believe on QT.
I know that things in things ain't exactly rosy in the UK at the moment, but I can not believe that any sane person can think that the BNP are the answer to our problems.
