Was right about one thing, Islam degrades women, as a matter of course. Anyone who has spent 5 minutes in Saudi would agree

He's right about our country, we are being swamped and down trodden, giving way to other peoples religions and losing our Christian roots. Enoch Powell was so right all those years ago.

the QT's audience was London, not representative of England. Griffin was set up by the BBC, the seating arrangements, the biased audience, it was basically a lynching.

Nothing wrong with christianity if they keep it to themselves, but its being put into all our children's heads in primary school, not what I want for my children. As an atheist, having christianity forced into my son's head at school, is exactly the same as a christian parent having to put up with Islam being forced into their child's head at school.

Sharia Law (thanks to the labour government) is now allowed to be used by the muslims in this country in the place of the law that everyone else has to abide by. The losers in all this are of course, the women.

The projection for our populatioin is that by 2083, there will be 80 million on this small island. 40% of that will be made up from migrants. None of the mainstream parties seem to want to do anything about this. The tories have said that they will not "pull up the drawbridge" on immigration. The BNP is the only party who want this to be done. I dont agree with Griffin on a lot of what he says but on immigration he is right.

We need to make sure we understand about immigration. If all the immigrants in this country left, many of our institutions and industries would collapse, including the NHS, as many of our nurses are from Australia, New Zealand etc. We wouldn't have enough doctors and already can't recruit enough dentists. Immigrants do a lot of jobs that some British people think themselves above, such as food harvesting and cleaning. It's not that they 'take' the jobs, it's that British companies can't find British people to do them so have to look abroad.

Also it's a fact that if we sent all immigrants ''home'' and took back all the British people who have gone abraod (to the US, France, Australia etc) we would actually end up with MORE people on this island, because more have left than have come in.

I agree with Suzycbee that no religion should be shoved down anyone's throat - people should be educated enough to choose for themselves. Christianity itself is an imported religion as the original religions of these islands would have been forms of Paganism.

Illegal immigration is a different thing and of course needs to be sorted out. Nick Griffin works by allowing people to mix up the term 'immigration' with 'illegal immigration'. At the end of the day he is a bitter racist, exploiting our fears to get himself power.

Actually you are very wrong about the Doctors . The reason so many of our own Doctors are working abroad is that the NHS takes in so many Doctors from other countries . As a Doctor you actually have a better chance of a good job here if you come from another country .

NZ and Australia don't train enough Doctors as they know they will pick up all the ones from here who either can't get a job ( and there are many of them ) or can't get the job they want because it has been filled with foreigners . The only reason the amount of unemployed Doctors is covered up is because they are not sitting here claiming unemployment benefit . They take themselves off to other countries who do need Doctors . It costs £250,000 pounds for this country to train the Doctors and then many of them are working in NZ and Australia .

Before you tell me I don't know what I am talking about I have a son in this position . He has been a Doctor in NZ for the last 4 years and many of his friends are also in this position . It's about time this country started putting their own people first as is the position in most other countries in the world including Australia and NZ .

Also as a former nurse myself I have spent many a shift working beside Doctors with very limited spoken English .

I don't agree with everything Nick Griffin says but he is right in a lot of what he says .

I am not suggesting that people from other countries living here should be "sent back".

If this country is short of doctors, scientists, etc then we need to bring them in. If we have a situtation where a young british doctor has to go to NZ then we do not need to bring them in.

Back in 2003 we were seriously thinking of emigrating to Canada. However the points system they operate was and probably still is very strict (based on qualifications) and the length of time we would have to have waited for a decision was 2 to 4 years by which time our son would have been settled in school here so we decided against it. You also had to pay £1800 to apply and if your application failed you lost £800 of that money. We had to prove that we had enough money to support ourselves and, if we ran out of money and were unable to find work, there was no benefits available. This is what we need here but its open doors here . Why do the immigrants want to get into the UK after having travelled through upteen other EU countries? Because we let anybody in thats why. This is the reason for the BNP's support, people are fed up with it.

Moreover, anybody who works here from the EU and pays income tax, can apply for Child benefit for their children back home. If they are doing a low paid job and have 6 or 8 kids back home their monthly child benefit (£74.00 per child) far outweighs any benefit they bring to the country, I would have said. There may be some truth to british not wanting to do some jobs but, if they are paid a decent wage, they probably would be. If however, employers can pay low wages to migrants they would rather do that than pay a decent wage to someone locally.

I think Nick Griffin said many things that others are afraid to say-'PC' and all that.....

I didn't like the way he was 'set up' and 'set upon'........the panel and audience 'all went for him'

I think the doors to Britain should be closed- concentrate on who we have- here now.

All those who choose to remain here should observe/respect British living-Christianity etc....and not try to impose other traditions/religion on others.

I don't beleive my views are in any way racist......

I also believe 'sexual preferences' should be kept out of Primary schools..

I'm not 'homophobic' but I don't wish to see gay men/women kissing in public-nor do i think television should broadcast such scenes in early shows such as Eastender's etc

Why exactly can't British companies find suitable trainee doctors/nurses in this country?

Might it be we don't 'concentrate on, nurture and fully fund British citizens/students here?

I agree with you, I feel the same. I lived in London in the sixties and watched areas being swamped by blacks from Jamaica and Nigeria. They would buy a house in a small street, gradually as people left they took over the whole street. It then became a sort of no-go area.

I have nothing against them, but our people should come first.

I agree with one thing he says the doors need shuting now , there is no points system so anyone can just wander in the country and live free , its just not right

i thought it was really badly done.....he didnt get much of a chance to get his points across.............he's still a arse though !

Young people at a college in Guilford are not allowed to say the term; brain storming, as it might be offensive to people with a learning difficulty.

What is this country coming to ?

That term was discouraged due to the symptoms of Epilepsy being just that....

it was indeed Meddling - and the Epilepsy Society conducted research amongst it's members to find out if anyone actually really was offended by the term, and surprise surprise, found that pretty much no one was!

I think this one started out in the same way as baa baa green sheep thing i.e. completely made up by the tabloids.....what happened with that one was that a rag made up a story about 'loony left' councils banning baa baa black sheep (which never happened btw) People read it and believed it, and then organisations started thinking 'hey, are people offended by that song? should we change the words?

But the truth is, it was all an invention of some sub-editor with an axe to grind and too much time on their hands.....the who brainstorming thing sounds mighty similar to me.

As to Nick Griffin - the man is a despicable weasle....and I really have no sympathy for a man like that receiving a roasting.

apparently 'brainstorming' has been replaced by 'thought showers' amongst others..... :b

and urchin-i think you are being grossly unfair to weasels! lol

I couldn't agree more.

And having watched the programme 'BNP Wives' on Sky a few nights ago, I think the real agenda of this vile and disgusting party was clear to see, not the watered down version that Nick Griffin would have had us believe on QT.

I know that things in things ain't exactly rosy in the UK at the moment, but I can not believe that any sane person can think that the BNP are the answer to our problems.

He is not a nice person, but the BBC set him up, all the audience was hand picked and the questions pre-arranged, that is what happens at all the question time programs. No one can for see the answers.

This man has a valid point, we have so many immigrants coming into the UK, it has to stop somewhere. Plus we are told there are untold numbers of them that have vanished into the black economy.

It's just a pity someone like him, a bigot, has to get publicity so easily.

But, it is a free country, or used to be.
