Tom has asked me to update you all on Wesley's progress. He was very bruised and was quite shocked yesterday when they got him home. After a warm shower and some Arnica gel, they kept him quiet, but he was still lame this morning and took him to the vet. He has badly sprained the limb and may have a hairline fracture. It will be at least 6 weeks before he can begin excercising again.

Let's hope he is feeling a little less sore very soon :huggles:

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE EXTENT OF WESLEY'S INJURY PLEASE TELL TOM WE ARE THINKING OF HIM :luck: HERES HOPING WESLEY MAKES AN SPEEDY AS POSSIBLE RECOVERY :luck:

Tom and Shona - we send you lots of love and good wishes for poor Wesley, we felt so sorry for him and you too. He was so enjoying his racing, and we hope he will soon be able to enjoy it again. Give Wes a :huggles: from us. xx

Poor boy :( , give Wesley a big :huggles: from me and I hope he is soon feeling better.

Poor Wes. It sounds like quitq nasty fall but I guess it could have been worse. Hope he's recovered and back racing soon. He was so enjoying his new hobby

Best of luck for a full recovery for Wes, it was a nasty looking fall, glad to hear that it wont keep him off the track for too long, he really seems to enjoy racing.

:luck: To Tom & Shona looking after him through his recovery

Just to let you all know Wesley seems to be making great progress this week, although this could be due to the metacam! Still a little stiff but much better than expected.

He is in a big huff that he is not allowed to run and he wishes he was there today!

Hope you all had a good day and hopefully see you soon

Tom and Shona x x
