To all you coursing people who were not out with the EAWCC on Saturday I would like to say that you missed one heck of a day. The ground was superb, the hares were as good as they get and the dogs were amazing. Do you know, I am beginning to believe what many people have been telling me for the last year or so that this club is probably the finest of its kind in the land and that isn't merely because a certain brindle bitch, namely Saucey Madam, makes regular appearances! There is a lot more to it than that. Back to Saturday. Two excellent finals , comprising Fressingfield Flighty( lucky to beat Lynperry Plain of Boston in the previous round) and Banatay Bollinger in the first , followed by What's Behind The Masque and Terechline Vanilla. Once the finals had been run and the presentations made, the trials began and these represented some of the best sport of the day. In this context, I would like to mention Mr Calvert's Cheydanhar Tomahawk and Mr Doyle / Mrs Buick's Magic Trick ( the latter of course known to many of you) as outstanding. It must be said unfortunately that some members had to depart before the trials commenced. In fact one member(bizarrely) had to rush off to dress up in women's clothes purely to attend a fancy dress event(or so he said) so that was alright then. Strange but there we have it!!

Keep the faith and love our sport

Lamping man . 3 meets into a new season and 3 rosetts on the wall it just gets better. All we need is for the young pretender to upset his half of the draw for this weeks dog cup and i may even buy you a drink ????

Regards All at Cheydanhar.
