Can i ask those of you who breed there dogs,[ now i have my views on this ] at what age would you let your pups go to there new homes

Thanks Paula, 8/10 weeks thats what i was hoping to hear, the first thing i asked jills breeder at what age could i have a pup, her reply was 8 weeks, if she would have said under that age, i wouldnt have had jill for free, im sure at some stage ive read on k9 where people have picked up their pup at 5 weeks old.Paula Roberts said:IMO 8/10 weeks, i have found that after this the pup tends to bond with us and when it goes to its new home has trouble bonding with the new owner, we even had one owner who had to call the pup Poppy because it would only answer to puppy, and this was the nearest name she could find.
