I've been helping a friend with her exceedingly unruly puppy, she's 13 months old and totally wild, but is now improving as she is starting to realise her boundries - my question is what do you think might be in her?

Her mother was a Jack Russell (not sure what type)

I think there is some whippet in there - she has a slight rise over the loin and her back end from behind is just fuzzy whippet!

Her 'breeders' thought is was collie but she is about 1/2 inch shorter than Blue so about 18"

I think either colliexwhippet or Beddie...What do you think?

She also has slightly large but Whippet folded ears

I agree, collie and or bedlington. My mum has a beddie and shes a stubborn little minx!! Also, collies can be quite unruly when they aren't getting as much stimulation as they want lol and that's alot!!! I had a collie cross and we tried sooo hard to keep him occupied but he never ever seemed to get tired??!!

She's a little beautie though  and I think you are pretty much spot on with possible breeds, it's what I would have guessed... A right little mixture  Awww she's gorgeous!

She's a real beauty.  I agree there is probably some collie in there. We have always assumed our Bobby is a Collie X (unknown parentage :- " ) and she has a similar type of blaze and eye shape to him. Whatever she is, she is lovely. :huggles:

Whatever she is she is totally gorgeous

I'd guess there's a bit of a mixture, there. She does look quite whippety, and obviously a good dose of terrier, but I'd agree there could be some collie, too.

I used to have a JRT/whippet/collie years ago, though he was smooth coated and looked quite different. He was quite a handful - he had the collie brain and need to 'work', the terrier busyness and a whippet's speed! He needed a lot of 'handling' and masses of exercise but turned out to be an absolutely cracking dog.

I think she looks like a bit of border terrier in her head and coat to me  . but whatever she is she is gorgeous
