Hi I'm new to this forum and would like to introduce myself and my pups Fluffy and Nugget.I have 2 cavapoochon puppies both male and would like to know the best life time insurance company to use any help would be welcome

We can't really advise as such, because that would be tantamount to giving financial advice, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and members here are not qualified to do that.

However things to consider include whether the insurer deals directly with your vet, or requires you to pay up front and reclaim from them.

The level of cover you need depends on what sort of health conditions your dogs might be prone to. So, assuming the parents weren't health tested (because in crossbreeds, that's unlikely) you would need to assess how likely it is that they will develop conditions passed down from their parents. For these crosses, that would include knee problems, eye problems, heart conditions, and CMSM from the cavalier side (sadly, some of these are quite likely). Your vet might be able to give you estimates of how much treatment would cost.

Another tip is to ask potential insurers for quotes not just for puppies, but what they currently charge for the same dog at ages 5, 8, 10, 12 years old. Some policies start cheap, but rise more than others. This is important because once you make a claim, different insurers will treat it as a pre-exisiting condition and won't provide cover. So, you are really tied into the company you have chosen.

Finally, I know you didn't ask this but please do some research on littermate syndrome. Raising two pups of the same age is do-able but takes more than three times the work of raising one - you have to teach everything individually to each pup, then teach them together, then add in the distraction of having the other one around. So to get well rounded, temperamentally sound dogs, you do need to know what you are doing.
