What Kind Of Cross Is Misha?

We got Misha a couple of months ago from a lurcher rescue organisation. She is a lovely dog.

We were told she was a whippet/merle collie cross. She does not look like this to us now she is growing up. any ideas what she might be? Mag

Dunno! She has a hairy tail, short, silky coat, shorter face than a whippet, whippety ears :wacko: :wacko: Collies are quite similar in their conformation to whippets - I always think they look like hairy whippets!! I would have thought her coat would be longer though.

i would agree i have a greyhound colle cross and can see simallaritys espcily the tail my girl has a short coat but its thicker then a whippet or greyhounds and has the plume on hair tail its hard to tell from one photo but if shes a nuttter shes a collie cross my girles 8 years now and still as mental as they day we got her as a pup

She definitely has merle markings, so some collie in there somewhere. Her parents may have been crosses, of course, so possibly neither was a full collie, but I know a greyhound/collie cross with a very similar coat.

She's absolutely gorgeous, whatever she is :wub:

My Sophie (also a rescue) is a merle collie x whippet - it's a wonderful mix!
