My eldest is babysitting for a neighbour tonight so we are home, we might go out for drinks tomorrow night at a friends house but thats not confirmed yet.

Apart from that a quiet slow one again for us!

We had such a busy few weeks with birthdays, parties etc etc that I really need to just chill and have some down time...

What about you?

me im just praying, big thaw so now floods a problem, going down south tuesday and after seeing the m6 last night im a wee bit nervous. apart from that footy , greyhounds and a wee dram.

Today I plan to do noooothing!!

Tomorrow it's my dads belated birthday meal we had to cancel last week because of the snow!!!

We were planned to go to see my sister today, since it's her birthday, but that's been shelved because they have had sufficient snow overnight to fully bury her car and even though it's likely to melt quite quickly, that amount of snow will take more than a single day to melt.

We were also planned to go and see my OH's family in Chester tomorrow, but that may well be shelved too, since getting across the Pennines would be really no fun at all until everything's melted. We have been trying to get to them since before Christmas, but when my OH's had time off either they've been ill, we've been ill or the weather has made the whole plan go a bit pear shaped. We'll get there, hopefully before Easter. Such is the joy of living nearly 100 miles from your family.

I have had a busy weekend filled with a bit of drama!

I tried a new drink last night at a friends house called 'The Cracken' its a rum that tastes of vanilla!

Yum yum!!

Well - not really - I had already had quite a bit of Fizz and then The Cracken got pulled out - I know my limitations on spirits so I only had 2 teeny glasses of it...

I had a headache when I initially woke up on Sunday but after an hour it was gone - feel smug!! :lol:

You can get it in Tescos apparently - get some and tell me what you think

as you know im off down south 2moz morn, and ive got half bottle of voddy and 20 cans of tennents, then my m8 rings and says apart from the lager hes got hes also got a bottle of whiskey hehehe am gunna get smashed, and b4 peeps say dis and dat i hardly drink so letting my hair down,, if i had any that is lol
