What's This Sea Bird?

Does anyone know what this bird is? Fraid i'm not very up on sea birds :blink:

It was perched here in the middle of the beach this afternoon.I've never seen one like it before.

I think it's a gannet, saw quite a few when we were on holiday in Northumberland :thumbsup:

It's a gannet :thumbsup: - I once had to help look after one for a few days that had got stranded next to Harrods in Knightsbridge and I was working as a vet nurse there :thumbsup: - their beaks are lethal!! :sweating:

Beautiful birds, and watching them dive for their food in the sea is absolutely amazing :thumbsup:
