has anyone got any ideas into the one.

We have noticed that for the past few months zeb when out running has got a wheeze, it only happends when he is running,it does not always happen, and its not just a the start of a run but it can also happen at the end.

This happened afew times in the summer, but not as much as in the last few months :b

I have told the vet who has cheecked him over and there seams not to be any problems with he heart or lungs.

Has anyone else had this problem?

everyone in the park calls him wheezie whippet when it start.

Could be asthma? Or hayfever if it's just the summer? My dogs cough when they go out in cold air sometimes.

My GSD used to wheeze and cough a lot and she had a form of bronchitis that meant she had to take broncho-dilators for the rest of her life :( , your vet would have noticed that though.

My guess would be asthma, but I'm no expert I hasten to add! :- "

Hope he gets better soon.

Iv thought it could be asthma myself, there is no coughing although he did collapes on me will out for a run 3 months ago. the vet said it was a virus. But since it has got cold his wheeze has got worse, he got the dreaded kennel cough last month the vet had no idea what this wheeze could be :b

We had kennel cough back in November - yucky! If he's collapsing could it be like fainting? Not enough blood getting to the heart or brain? I'd be inclined to go back to the vet, or another vet if you're not satisfied and get tests done.

Zeb get his injections the begining of feb so i may speak to them again about it.

apart from the one time that he collapsed he is fine.

thanks
