OMG! Was sat upstairs and I could hear Rocket running around downstairs. Thinking he was just playing with his toy I thought no more of it. After about 5 mins I went downstairs to take him out, then I looked at the hamster cage and saw Biscuits cage door wide open with no hamster in the cage!!! Couldn't believe it have had the hamster for over a year and have always been so careful.Obviously fearing the worst I took both dogs upstairs and tentitively went back down stairs. (I'm not good with things like dead hamster bodies!) Anyway no sign of biscuit anywhere. Then I'm thinking that she is lying injured somewhere, which is probably worse than the thought of dead hamster!

Decided that the only way to find her is to put Rocket on his lead take him downstairs in the hope that he would take me to where she is. Got Rocket and he found her straight away. She was sat perfectly well in Rockets food bowl absolutely stuffing dog food into her cheeks as fast as she could!! Rocket backed off from her really quickly. Like he does with my mothers really vicious cat! When I took her back to her cage there was a lot of dog food in there so she'd obviously been going back and forward stealing it for a while!!! Goodness knows what went on down there, think I should have been more worried about the whippet rather than the hamster!!

The little ones are always the worse! Rocket should have known not to mess with a little female.

Hahahaha, I love this!!!!!!!!!!! Absolute classic

My cat keeps pinching my puppy's food, poor Pixie just sits folornly watching her eat it. My friend has a wonderful black greyhound called Milo, not long ago she couldn't work out why he kept perstering her and looking worried, when she followed him into the kitchen, she found the tortoise in his bowl munching through his food! Poor Milo

Biscuit sounds like a superb hamster :D

Brilliant - this cracked me up!! Such a funny story. Go Biscuit Go! xx

Funny though that he won't mess with the kids hamster but when on a walk anything that moves is for catching!!!
