Hello Everyone, Me, my wife and 5 year old son are looking for a whippet bitch to keep as a pet. We have never kept dogs before and would like any advice etc on whippets and what they are like?

hes a greyhound trainer and ask me to look out for a whippet for a couple with 5 year old son one ready to race or already racing

Whippets are fantastics dogs!! but please! please! be absolutely sure you are ready to have a dog as its a big commitment just like having a child, so really examine your life and situation, are you thinking about travelling? moving? taking a full time job that need every ounce of your being? are you out all day?
