The Whippet Club of Ireland held their Open show on 6th November and my home bred whippet Tia - 'Rushden Hot Gossip' won Best Bitch and RBIS (w00t) . I was so proud of her :thumbsup:

but I never heard of a whippet club of Ireland show (I went to see the huge turnout for the whippet championship show in Belfast in Sept, but saw no notices about other whippet shows in Ireland)

where was it held?

Hi Macha,

The Whippet Club Of Ireland show was held in conjunction with an all breed open show at the National Show Centre near to Dublin airport.

The show you were at in Belfast was a championship show run by the Northern Ireland Whippet Club - there are two seperate clubs, one in the north and one in the south.

Hope to see you at some more shows soon......... )
