Unable to be there this year. First time in ages this is so. However just got back from droping off the young pup who will be show'n. Only can wait now for results. :cheers:

We are off on Wednesday for our National dog show - will be 3 shows in all - can't believe it has been a whole month we have had Miss Sage - she is lookn pretty hot & is a natural show pony :wub: 3 shows in all, can't wait.

Have had a bit of a mystery illness with Master Rio - been unwell since Wednesday - temps of 40.6 degree's & after 2 days on drugs (antibiotics n anti inflam's) no improvement - poor boy is feeling horrible - back to the vets for a change in antibiotics & more bloods - nothing special shows up, liver ok etc... just high white cell blood count which points to him fighting an infection. Anyway a day on the new drugs temp down to 40.1 - then this afternoon I was thrilled to see him roll in a piece of something nasty - collared up the troops for a wee walk & he pushed in waggin his tail - phew, sounds like we have cracked the infection & are on the road to recovery :sweating: Problem is he hasn't eaten since Wednesday & is always a lean machine - now he looks like he's been mal-nourished and I only have 3 days to get weight on him!!!!!!

I have got the results and unless somebody beats me to it, I will try to type them out as soon as I can. But I am not a typist.

My Stella came second in strong Puppy class. I am very pleased as my back went couple of days ago, and Stella has not been in the ring for almost 4 months. But she was an angel and even jumped on the table for me, so i did not have to left her

He did a very thorough job, very decisive & definate in the type he wanted. John, you should have been there to see Anne Marie's reaction to it all. She nearly passed out cold when she won the BCC but when she then went on to win BIS, the poor woman burst into tears. She then ran around the ring waving her big rosette - it was a joy to see. A very bemused whippet bitch ran alongside trying to keep up with her!

Many congratulations to the winners, they were big classes.

Master Rio still sittin at 40.1 degree's - now 5 days on antibitotics & anti-inflam, he's improved in the sense he isn't quite as roached as before & he is holding his head up a bit higher - just wish he would start eating & get his temperature down, poor boy

Congratulations to all the winners!! I had a fantastic day and I didn't even get pulled out! I've just come back from the local Aldi store with chips and dip for the Royal Melbourne Show which is on tomorrow where we can do it all again!! :blink:
