I bought my first whippet coats from Sue and Terry Ward (Venture Coats) 20 years ago: they are still going strong (on different dogs). I would love to buy more but can't find an active number for them. Does anyone know if Venture Coats are still in business?

Sorry unable to help you.

If you get stuck for a nice coat for your whippet, I would thoroughly recommendt the "Equafleece" dog coats.

They are soft and fit closely and comfortably, with nice high necks, they wash and dry quickly, they keep the dogs extremely warm and keep bad weather out.

I have a couple of these coats that are very old and they still wash and wear like new.

Just a suggestion of you get stuck!

Another vote for the Equafleece from me.

I used the Equafleece for warmth (it is also shower proof) and a Country Mun lightweight waterproof either on its own or over the Equafleece for extra protection.
