Out of interest does anyone know that if you do a repeat mating with the same parents are the litter likely to be the same colours as their first litter?

Depends on how dominant the colours are. I did black to blue twice. litter one was three black and one blue, litter two was two blue, one black white trim and one fawn!!!!!!

So the answer to you question would be NO :p

Yep if both parents are blue fawns, though the amounts of white on the pups might vary. Also amount of blue hair through the coat, masks.

If they are both fawn then you'll get some kind of fawns again.

Once you get into black or blue parents then............ your guess will be as good as anyones.

Mum was blue, Dad fawn and they had a blue and black litter!

I mated 2 fawn brindles. The first litter I got fawn brindles. I did a repeat mating and got fawn brindles a blue brindle and 2 pale fawns. So definitely no you will not necessarily get the same colours or shades.

The colours that are possible for you to get won't change. Given the pedigree its possible to eliminate the possibility of certain colours sometimes.
