can any one tell me if whippets suffer from any genetic eye defects please?.... most of the info i find on whippets say that whippets have no defects generally....but are there any eye problems known in racing lines particularly?

thanks

I have heard that some Whippets have sight problems which becomes obvious later in life, some go blind. I have also heard of Whippet with pannus

No, this starts before the age of 10, and is not just normal part of aging proces. The peole who had the affected dogs could not tell me waht exactly was the problem. Look back in my post I have also included link to the inherited disorder site.
