My six month old whippet dog has tasted human food recently and is refusing his dry food. Without wanting to do away with the occasional human food treat, what is the best way to get him back on to his dry dog food. This is whippet blackmail!

Just put his food down , leave it 10 mins if he hasnt eaten it take it away . at the time his next meal is due , put down food again and see what happens , if he still wont it eat DONT give in , remove it again until such time as he eats all his diiner .Hard I know but otherwise you will have made a rod for your own back

they are so good at training US

Don't know if you soak the food or not but mine seem to prefer it soaked

Mine prefer it with a little bit of tinned food mixed in - only about a quarter of a tin per dog per meal :))

Raw meat! Better for him that dried stuff!!!!
Not on it's own though.

The question has been answered - offer him nothing else and if he's hungry enough he'll eat it.

However you could offer a little more variety too.
