There is a lovely black female (neutered) Whippet on Gumtree just now looking for a new home due to the owners working hours changing. The owner is looking for a really good home for her and I said I would ask if anyone on here knew of anyone wanting such a dog. I think she is coming up for 2 years old. Unfortunately she is not used to cats and he said she would probably chase them. So probably no good in my house as I have four!!!!

He also has a lovely lab/lurcher he is looking for a really good home for. I think he is around the same age but would need experienced owners.

Both dogs photos can be seen on Gumtree Edinburgh. The dogs are in Penicuik just outside Edinburgh.

yes it sounds like it doesn't it, and the fact that she is spayed makes it a far less worrying situation

What a lovely chap who is needing to rehome these two, he has turned down several people already as they are just not right for either of his girls.

It sounds as if she is a non ped, possibly grey/whip x or some collie/lab in her as she is taller and broader than your average whippet. (too big for me unfortunately)

He is determined to find homes with people who have time to spend with these two dogs.

Yes, he sounds really nice and told me the same. That is why I thought I would put them on here for him, as he doesn't want the wrong person ending up with them.

Fingers crossed the right home will come up very soon for them. It is a shame as the owner sounds really caring and his hearts in the right place :-
