THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS !! HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH DIPPING THEIR UNWANTED WHIPPS INTO "2 OFF SAND AND 1 OFF CEMENT AND LEAVE TO HARDEN A WHILE" TYPE STUFF.

That is made by a friend of mine in the States who also does 'thread painting' and quilts and pillows. I have 3 pillows she's made with thread paintings of my girls. Will try and post pics. And I've got 2 quilts from her with whippets on them. She also makes mohair bears.

She is just SO talented. I saw 'in the flesh' the smaller versions of this that were her first two she made. They are amazing.

It's a gorgeous hand crafted 'stuffed' whippet.

The photos don't do them justice, but here's a try. Hopefully it's the pillows with the original photo she used for them (she also makes wall hangings in this style), and then the quilt. I've got a second quilt but it's been put away for now.

I have a Vee thread painting too, of my little girl Feather. I consider myself very lucky to have it, it's absolutely unique. They're a real labour of love, nothing mass produced from Vee that's for sure. She is brilliant....& a lovely person to boot.
