PLEASE COULD ANYONE SUGGEST ANYWHERE FOR WHIPPET SCHOOLING IN THE NORTH WEST . KESTRAL FLYER IS RUNNING WELL BUT WE FEEL HE NEEDS EXTRA SCHOOLING HE TRIALS WELL AT WESTHOUGHTON ON A THURSDAY NIGHT BUT NEEDS TO RUN WITH OTHER DOGS . ANY HELP WELCOME , THANKS MICK

Couldn't you get in at Westhoughton when you were last on about it?

Maybe try Ellesmere Port, see if they do boarding / schooling?

Trying to think if i know of anyone on Westhoughton whos a greyhound trainer that might school him for you for a while, i'll ask keith who he knows if you want to go down that route.

WE HAVE ASKED AT WESTHOUGHTON SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE WHIPPET KENNELS THERE ARE BEING REFURBISHED . WE HAVE LEFT OUR TELEPHONE NUMBER WITH THEM HOPEFULLY THEY WILL LET US KNOW WHEN THEY ARE FINISHED ,BUT WE WILL ASK AGAIN IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.WHERE IS THIS PLACE AT ELLESMERE PORT ? DO YOU HAVE A NAME AND CONTACT NUMBER ?

WE NEED TO GET KES IN SOMEWHERE OR RUN HIM WITH OTHER DOGS MORE OFTEN THAN ONCE A WEEK . IT SEEMS A WASTE WITH A DOG LIKE HIM AND HIS POTENTIAL HIS TIMES EVERY WEEK ARE GOOD WE THINK HE CAN ONLY GET FASTER BUT HE NEEDS THE RUNNING AND THE HELP

Grade time @ Westhoughton is 15.30 so Kestral Flyer will need to find some time to run in the sprints against greyhounds.

There is a kennel at Westhoughton that trials greyhounds there but I presume you have tried them. They did have an advert in the tea room.

I believe Joe at Easington will also kennel dogs for schooling. May be worth a visit?

Kestral Flyer's fitness is a credit to you both-he looks fantastic and yes he does have speed to burn as we have witnessed on many occasions-Once he's ironed out- I'm sure there will be much more to come as most of his times are solo's and he's not coming off panting.

Easington is straight forward enough to find and not too far away.

Maybe the next move could be as Neil suggested run him with the greyhounds he only needs to find a yard as his times have been in the 15-30s of late hes doing ok keep at it mate remember Robert the Bruce if at first --------------try try again ,i have got my money on you getting the result you so richly deserve .
