just like to hear peoples views on experience if they find that the smaller sized whippets are more sucsessful pound for pound than the heavyweights
 
In the supremes though, if the bigger dogs are giving away 1/2 yard or a yard per lb then its often the littler ones that win. A lot of people will withdraw a heavy weight from the supreme because of the yardage they have to give away. They still win sometimes though!

Have to agree with what Judy has said.

but the weight (big v small) is only an issue when they come to a supream as through the day at Opens they run in small weight groups 14/19lb 20/22lb ect and at champs they run in 2lb weight devissions.

a good little one often beats a biger one of the same standard due to the hcp ect.
