Just got back from Ryton on Dunsmore where whippets had a good day , India won BOB and the hound group and Sarahs new puppy `Buezie `something at Cahoots :blink: won best puppy and the puppy group :cheers:

I feel your pain! My beautiful puppy was beaten today for Best in Match by a Chow Chow puppy who resembled a pile of orange hair with a tongue sticking out of the middle.

It is hard for our Whippies to beat fluffy, fuzzy things in the match shows!

But then, that owner brushed and fluffed her puppy for an hour before taking it in the ring, and probably had to give it a bath and blow it dry, while I wiped my exhibit with a damp towel and it took all of two minutes to have him ready to show.

I guess when you look at it that way, she deserved it a LOT more than I did!

Congrats on your nice day! The Hound group is still a good win. Can be hard to get past the adorable dachshunds and Beagles, too.
