i am having trouble finding the right pup so any help would be well appreciated.i would prefer a 3/4 greyhoundx 1/4 whippet but may have a 1st cross.i want a dog around the 25inch mark so this may mean big parents which may be around and above the 25inch but obviously there aint many big whippets which is why i want a 3/4 bred.i also want a blue bitch pup so this may meen blue parent or parents and the parents have to be working and have took fox, deer, hare and rabbit before the ban .so it will be a very big help if someone knows of this breeding or may be be breeding a litter later next year which fits this description i will be well interested and will travle a few miles for the right pup as it will be me working it for the rest of its life.

So for starters, the Greyhound bitch would have to be from working stock.I dont ,or never have known, of anyone who has worked a greyhound bitch,at deer, fox hair and rabbit.Maybe youd like it to be taking squirel, pheasant, mink, pig, and the odd cow as well.Oh and maybe it would help if it had a few fly fishing lessons to boot.Come on man, catch a grip.Or would it have to be able to do that for you too.If its a half bred you get that happens to make 25+.The Whippet would need to be capeble of pulling down a deer,or fox.Ok a fox maybe, but honestly,a deer, maybe 20 times his weight. To get a half bred sire for youre three quarter bred, the half bred would need to be doin the buisness.I think youre in trouble mate. Now a big three quarter dog, could do the buisness,if he goes 25+ and reaches 65to75 pounds.Very few and far between. But its a bitch you want, Oh ,and it must be blue, and have blue in its direct line,eg parent or grandparent. Now can i take you back to your first quote,"eg"i am having trouble finding the right pup,and ask you to take a step back and ask yourself why.I just hope you have a lot more Christmas's left, cause its gona take SANTA a long time breeding this one.Good luck in your search mate. HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

i know its alot to ask for but i am willing to wait for the right pup.i know theres people which work ex track greyhound and these dogs have taken fox and deer.i know there are very few whippets i mean hardley any that take deer so thats why im asking for a 3/4 bred and i know whippet x greyhound 1st crosses which take deer as i know a few lads who have took roe with them but these dont want to breed there dogs. and i really want a blue bitch as i really like these colours.so santa hurry up i want a puppy.

merry christmas and happy new year

Are you sure that its a whippet x you want? don't you think a bullx would suit you better

i really dont like bull xs,i was thinking saluki cross but my father said he dont want me getting one and would prefer me getting a grew.i really do like grews for there shere determanation and speed.i already have a collie cross which is my fathers and find she can be to brainy at times and sometimes picks her runs and if she thinks there too far she just comes straight back.i want to get something iam gonna be happy with so im gonna have to wait.

maybe a deerhound/greyhound mite be better for pullin them deer down
