Hi Guys,

Macha has passed me on this info to post on here.

According to the Belfast Telegraph there are Whippet cross pups in Downpatrick dog pound. Phone the pound on 02844851426 for more info please.

Not sure how many days the wee things have before PTS day. But worth a try posting here incase anyone can help them.

My two whippets came from a pound in Ireland where they are PTS after 5 days. Thousands of dogs killed there each year. So sad.

I tried phoning today for more info but just kept getting an answering machine. Left my details for them to (hopefully) call me back.

I haven't phoned the pound but am hoping that they aren't going to put the dogs down if they can avoid it; they took the trouble to insert a small advert in the newspaper advertising the whippetx pups, a spaniel pup and a few adult dogs (boxer, rottweiler, crossbred spaniel). I specifically mentioned the whippetty ones to Evie because k9ers are often looking for this type of dog.
