Not from my experience,he will grow out of it.It is a very puppy thing to do and done usually just out of sheer exuberance!

i do hope so the girls never did it so he does look funny

Well, ours was the other way around,Teazel did it and Badger her brother did'nt? I have no idea why some do and some dont  but she certainly does'nt move like that in the ring,I think it could be something to do with the fact that both she and her Mum are quite excitable types (her Mum did it as a pup too) and her Brother is a very laid back chap. But this is just guess work.

Meant to ask, does it come right up over his back? And does he do it all the time or only when excited, like going out on a walk or playing?

no its sort of half mast when he walk its fine but as soon as he goes any faster thats it and of course it does it when he goes around like he owns the place :D

Oh well in that case I definitely would not worry,it is only an over-excited puppy thing!
