Hi, ive posted a topic already on the general discussion forum. Im looking to home a white whippet bitch around 1 year old, ( see general forum for long story of all of this!!) If anyone can help me please get in contact!

Not necessarily all white, but i just love white dogs! The odd patch ot two doesnt make a big difference, im really after an adorable pet that will get lots of love and walks! My partners the opposite, he loves jet black dogs, but our racing greyhound is black and its his dog really, so the whippet will be a family pet, but of my choice!! A greyhound is too big for our house and we'd suit a whippet. My dad has a dog whippet who is from showing lines in ireland, hes adorable, but personally i prefer bitches.

Which irish show lines has your fathers whippet got behind him Keane?

I have been living in Northern Ireland for over 9 years now and show mainly whippets. We are Rushden Kennels. I too love dogs with lots of white on them - Our Irish Champion bitch, Barmaud Sweet Shannon is predominantly white (you can see her on www.rushdenkennels.com ) -parti colour whippets are definately my favourite :wub: :wub: .......but all whippets are adorable :wub

Hi, i gave my dad a ring and he sayes he's from collooney kennels.

He believes he was from a litter by collooney silver jigolo x barmaud casting dreams.

He's lovely, but unfortunately he was not 100% for showing but hes a lovely lad!

Just viewed your website, you too have a colooney and a barmaud! Are they fairly common or is this just coincidence???

I know Viv and the Collooney whippets. Silver Jigolo is actually sired by our own Khabaray Paco Rabbane dog ( Marcus) whom we bought off Patsy Gilmore when he was a mere 18 month old youngster! We bought our Barmaud bitch (Emma -named after her breeder) around the same time.

I enjoyed looking at your website too, I had to take a look at your "Emmas" pedigree. And yes it is her sister that has moved to Sweden! Heres a picture I took when she won a whippet show speciality.
