My two LOVE James' parents.... they go there for a week a year when we go away on holiday and they never forget the MASSIVE walks they get, plus treats EVERY time they have a wee and get generally spoiled!!

What about your doggies?

my brindle likes ma pal jono, when hes around im billy no mates lol it started when we was down in england in this massive hare field, by the time i got there my m8 jon would be at the bottom of the field and rio would run flat out to see him, the black dog is so laid back he dont care.

My mother in law always has a digestive in her bag for Jasper so needless to say he is always overjoyed when she shows up. In fact it has earned her the new title of Granny Biscuit.

My mate Rich is always in the good books too, but he has a soft spot for Jasp and always makes a fuss of him over his own 4 cockers. Plus be is a forester so he always smells of trees!

Apart from that the old smoothy is a bit of a one for the ladies and a pretty young girl will always get his best puppy dog eyes. A friend of the wifes whom hr had never met before actually got presented with his best (by best I mean most chewed amd drenchdd in dog slobber!) tennis ball, which is otherwise unheard of.

my dog, absolutley loves my mum and dad, the first time he met both of my parents he had a good old sniff, then leapt around in absolute joy, like he recognised them. He's not a particularly affectionate or cuddly dog, but with my dad he will climb onto his lap and lick his ears, and he will also cuddle up to my mum on the sofa and sit on her lap. He doesn't do this with me unless he is injured, or feeling a bit poorly, for instance if he has a lot of nettle stings. He also loves a lady i work for, who has just sadly died; she also used to get the earlicking treatment, and he would let himself into her house if i was working in the garden, or sit outside and cry if she wasn't there. I'm kind of dreading taking him past her house in future, its a right shame.

It funny how they take to some people, and not others, the fishing license man around here often stops to pat him, dude, slinks away like a cat. He has also taken a biscuit off this same man and then spat it out! My friends whippet apparently does exactly the same to the same man, he probably thinks whip's are right snobs!

 how funny - I wonder why they dont like him?

I love these stories - keep them coming!

My sisters dog pretty much loves everyone... Haha! But he especially loves anyone that is wary of him... He then makes a massive effort to make them fall in love with him!!!

Joss, my middle whippet, adores her breeder's husband. It doesn't matter how long it is since she has seen him, she just goes bonkers! She's normally a very reserved little dog too - it's a joy to watch!!

Sam, our whippet, loves the boy next door who is 7. The boy is round a lot (my daughter's best friend) and Sam goes utterly mental when he arrives. Mind you she loves pretty much anyone, really. She's only 4 months old but she loves all people and any dog.

My dogs, twins (well brothers) are so different... one is a def. a mummys dog (my fault) and the other one is more of a free spirit.... both love their home comforts and will do anything for a cuddle and sit on the lap, thankfully they are little or this could get a bit uncomfortable!

As for who they are like personality wise .... not sure, both i think have a little bit of us all in them, but one is def a more people person and one is def a little mummys boy. Sooo spoilt and will do anything for a carrot!

I love that they like carrots!!!

We need pics!! :)

Dixie loves her dog sitter and his 2 american bulldogs (Winston hasn't been yet). Dixie and Winston both love the school lollipop lady (breeds labradors) as she always has a treat for them and Winston loves her because she's his dogsitter. She takes Winston to the residential home her sister is in and all the residents love him :) he likes to follow the tea trolley around!

Children- any or all of them including, but not limited to, my niece and nephew, my friends' children, my neighbours' children and any child she happens to run near in the park :) Children are the only people who outrank me.
