If, and it is a big IF, a lure coursing day was organised in Gloucestershire, how many of you lot would like to come. It would be mainly K9'ers, and organised by Mr Roberts....I would imagine we are looking at Novemberish at the earliest....What do you think?

This is an initial toe testing, nothing set in stone.

I am going to keep this bumped up for a few days, so I can see the response, and then discuss venue and timings with the powers that be, if there is a big enough demand, we should be able to thrash some-thing out.

Cheers Hannah, I have an idea or 2...We'll join heads if the idea has enough supporters......OI Mark! Yeah, that's better!

Yes, I might be interested. Would it be stakes or points like BSFA, and does any one else have any preference/thoughts on this?

Yep, I would be interested. The competition bit is of no consequence to me, just like to run my Whippets, it's their day out!!!

:D Well if Dessies going I can go to as she can drive, I can't LOL

The more the merrier, Mark will have to out-line the finer details of competition

I would love to come to see lure coursing in action but my dogs will be too young to participate.

Would it be ped only? I know a few people round here with rescue/non-ped/oversize whippets who would like to do fun things with them, but aren't eligible for 'proper' racing. Just a thought.

We always run stakes. (8,16,32 ect) Dog judged against Dog (not scored individualy). anything of whippet size/shape welcome (including oversized).

it's better pre entry then we can have a made up programme to run to.

Judged on simlar lines to how Live Coursing was.

Thanks Helen I like the SIR bit
