Has any one heard of Danny's Flyer, County Antrim's Girl, Sooty Sam, Black Lance,Lord of the Knight, Lady of the Night?  They are all related to my pup, where are they, who owns them?  I'd really like to know a bit more about where he has come from....

speaking of who is who, i met a woman today in bawtry who has a whippet.

        This woman is unrelated to whippet racing but growing up with one as a child she bought one for her children. After phoning the whippet rescue and not having any luck a friend called saying she had found a pet for her. This whippet that she now owns was strangely enough aquired from a whippet racer in the worksop area. The youngster is white and was out of a litter of ELEVEN (i think she meant seven but not sure), the woman says she has it that the dog was out of a good sire. Any information about this litter and its breeding would be a great help to her as her little son is keen on racing dogs and would like to know about his dog (who knows we may have a new racing family here !!!) I think Karen from Manton club or Pat her mum will be able to tell you more about the people and where the whippet was bred, not many racers at worksop now but there used to be a big following there at one time of day, hope you can find out what breeding it is and hope the owners will soon be racing.......
