Racing today was over 160 yards.
In heat 1 of the handicap, Choclate boots (25lb) was in the red trap, Montana's impact (23lb) in blue, Sapphire Flash (21lb) in white and Whitelighter (16lb) in Black. It was nice to see the youngster Whitelighter improving well and taking first place over her mother Sapphire Flash. Montana's impact ran well and came third with Chocolate boots in forth position. Heat 2 saw Paper Dragon (38lb) in red, Kung fu Panda (32lb) in blue and Bionic Boots (20lb) in white. Kung fu Panda ran a good race battling it out with Bionic boots but just missing out on the line to the more experienced dog. Well done Bionic boots and owners Mark and Andrea Jones. The competitors for the scratch were Love goesdown in red, Citizen Smiff in blue and Faolan in white. This was won by Love goesdown well done to Amanda Causier. In the handicap final White Lighter took an early lead and was running well until a little tumble took her out of the running leaving kennel mate Kung Fu Panda to take first place. Second place was won by Sapphire Flash with Bionic Boots taking third. White lighter came in fourth place a little bruised but none the less sound.
Trails were had by Blaze who had his first run against another dog and ran brilliantly, Dexter, Solly, Cadhla, Torin, Lottie, Billy and Terriers Jessie, Berty and Scruffy.
