Lovely day even if a bit breezy, with friendly banter and good company

All racing was over 170yards all dogs off Scratch (which made for some interesting racing)

Heat 1

Love Goesdown

Zenyetta

Montanas Impact

Heat 2

Paper Dragon

Citizen Smiff

Stay Out

Heat 1 saw Love Goesdown blitz the boxes to take an excellent lead, Zenyetta crossed behind Montanas Impact to peg back a few yards but failed to catch Love Goesdown on the line. Winner Love Goesdown 2nd Zenyetta 3rd Montanas Impact

Heat 2 was an almost a blanket finish when Stay Out missed the boxes, all three dogs ran an excellent race, with the youngester Citizen Smiff holding his own against the experience of the other two, but Stay Out pulled ahead just before the line to win from Citizen Smiff in second place and Paper Dragon 3rd with only a yard or so between all three.

A Final saw Rob use a front board on Stay Out which inproved her trapping and Love Goesdown just didnt seen to get out like he did in his heat, again a good race with Stay Out this time crossing the line 1st and Love Goesdown about 2-3 lengths behind. Well Done Rob & Lily

Run ups next

for Twiglet who is finding his legs unlike litter sister Zenyetta who seems to have it all together well

Dexter, Steve & Sharons rescue lurcher who knows when the weekend comes and plays up until they fetch him racing

Carolines Archer still showing hes a class act and making me move the lure faster

Erin Emma & Daves baby trapping out and getting it all together well

Kitt & Toad one running up the left of the track and one on the right with Toad powering home (well he does have something to live up to in Archer) and Kitt hasnt seen the track in some time. Great to see you back Tina !

Terriers

Scruffy and Perkins our two resident terriers having a race, Scruffy 1st Perkins 2nd

Boys you had better watch out, Bert, Nicks boy had his first hand slip this week and hes taken to it like a duck to water so will be further competion in the months to follow (w00t)
