Today we had a good turnout of members which made for an enjoyable day of race training and trials. Ground conditions for today were good after a couple of weeks of having a frozen solid track. It was good to see all club members in high spirits despite the downpour of rain as we arrived which brightened later on to glorious sunshine. Dave Bowen and Emma Williams kicked of proceedings today with their two bigger dogs, Piper (Paper Dragon) and Erin (Kung Fu Panda), both running well with Erin the youngster progressing well in her training. This was followed by the clubs two terriers Perkins owned by Jackie Treagus enjoying a good gallop against the feisty young Scruffy owned by Steff Griffin. These dogs are both running well week in week out and thoroughly enjoying their time on their days out. Next it was nice to see the return of Mark and Andrea Jones with their dogs Ted (Chocolate Boots) and Louie (Bionic Boots) running solos. Stay out had a trial against Lovegoes Down and Erin had a second Trial against more experienced kennel mate Sapphire Flash who flew out ahead leaving Erin following in her wake.
