Well done mate looks like you had a good day.

Just goes to show another towny that hasn't got a bloody clue about the countryside.

Whilst we,ve got idiots like Mr Benn in power we are going to get nowhere, why do tree hugging assholes like this waste our time even attending events like this when they are so blinkered.

Well done for trying.

Big Sean.

A great day that saw the profile of the whippet as a hunting dog raised in that particular neck of the woods. I got a phone call last week asking me if we`d help put on a demo at this farm. It is a working farm ,but the Yorks Dales national park have a guided tour type of thing around the farm. The farmer was the wisest today, in his words `I`m keeping out of the way, I might say something I might regret!!` ;D

I thought it was a good opportunity to give the labour hierachy , (Mr Benn is Agriculture minister )an earbashing , they deserve it . I`ts probably bye the bye now , as it`s looking more likely every day that the Conservatives will win the next election and Coursing and Fox hunting along with the other hound sports will be restored to their rightful place

The whippets worked well , both me and Jeff were well pleased with our recent new arrivals, the dogs accounted for 10 of the 12 rabbits we caught today.

To cap it all, we even managed to get some more permission on the way home. We have noticed a lot of rabbits on one aprticular spot, but hve been unable to track down the landowner. Our luck was in today, as the farmer was just leaving in his Landrover . A quick chat and permission on his land was secured , another result!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

sounds a cracking day  good for you, giving one of the gormless twits that run down the countryside and the people who live and work for it, a peice of your mind, his replies and attempts at the justfication of the ban just showed him up as another clueless drone

Noted your depressing commentary on NL's continued opposition to anything 'country'

I have not followed any discussion about repealing 'the law' from the Tories - perhaps there has been none. What is for certain is that once they are in power political expediency will take over and there will be plenty of other priorities on their agenda. I do not think we should wait to see a change in government before we start to lobby them - it should be done now, before they gain power in order to secure some commitment in return for votes. Perhaps this is underway already in terms of a specific lobby aimed at a new rather than the existing government - in which case if anyone can let us know Ill sign up for it.
