Just a quick question - We have just wormed our 12 week old lurcher and am wondering when we need to do him again? Or is it a case of now every 3 months or so?

Hello - I recall my vet saying as puppies you should do it much more often than that - but I never had.

I think she said every 3 weeks but I would check with your vet?

If you're using Drontal it is once every 12 weeks.

The vet told me every 4 weeks until they were 12 weeks then every 6 months.

I use the spot on flee treatment and I believe that worms them at the same time. That is applied every four weeks.

(My puppy is nearly five months old now).

Make sure it's a flea/wormer that comes from the vet or reputable website as the cheap ones (Bob Martin) dont actually contain enough of the drugs required to kill worms or Fleas

I did get mine from the vet, I have heard that Bob martins don't actually do the best job.
