Multiply by 39 and divide by 36 will give you your answer in yards

Highgate 250 m = 273.403 yards

Eas 238 m = 260.280 yards

Cam 247 m = 270.122 yards

I have too much spare time to do this sort of thing

What would the time's have been for a good run,in the scratch,or no limit, for the 304yds(Stainforth),and as im not too mathamatical, what would the 300 yrd time have been.(roughly).Reason for asking,is that i will be training over 300yds Derry greyhound track.I would then have a good idea as to what my bitch would be capable off. I once had a 50lb 23 inch power house of a bitch who could do 17.01 for 300,and 18.06 325.She was 3/4 w/g.I have had nothing like her ,nor seen nothing like her since. ...Billy...

The whippets haven't run at Stainforth for a few years Billy so I don't think many really know a good sprint time for the track, but I'm sure somebody might be able to dig an old programme or something out

This is the greyhound record time for 278m or 304 yards at Stainforth

278m Musical Chair 16.84sec 30 October 2001.

Hope this helps Billyboy  :luck:

I know all track's can ,and do run differently, and again,on different night's they can be anything up tp 50 slow/quick,over say 5oo yrd's.My wee bitch who was doin 17.01 for 300yrds,did it on the old track, which was 20 spot's slower than today's track, leaving her time for today's track somewhere around 16.81.Trackrecord now,is 16.54,but back then, about 16.70.She went round many time's with greyhound's,and was alway's 1st to come off the bend for the home straight..Hope this Magical Dream's pup is as quick,eh. ...Billy...
